23 weeks along... start of month 6!

Total weight gain/loss: 14 pounds! She's getting heavy! So for all those people in my classes who are like "wow, you're having a baby in May? You hardly look pregnant!"... um, hello? Are you implying that I looked this fat before?? haha.

Maternity clothes? Yes ma'am! They are wonderful! In this pic I am wearing my favorite new maternity shirt ($7 at Old Navy!). Jeans are a whole other story... I don't really fit into my usual jeans anymore (they are very tight and uncomfortable, and my skinny jeans are impossible!) but I am not fitting into my maternity jeans quite yet either. They are still pretty baggy in the butt and thighs. Plus, I don't have any maternity skinny jeans. This wouldn't be a problem if I didn't live in Utah where it snows every day and boots are a must! Yesterday was the worst :( It was snowing so I had to wear my UGG boots to keep my feet dry and warm. I had my cycling class in the morning, so I just packed a change of clothes with me. I changed in the locker room and wanted to cry. My flared maternity jeans wouldn't fit OVER my boots or I looked like a dork. But when I shoved them INTO my boots, I looked frumpy, baggy, and like the idiot that doesn't know that it is against fashion law to shove flared jeans into boots. You just don't do that, ya know? And yet that is how I was forced to walk around campus looking all day. I called Bryant immediately "Babe, can we please buy me some maternity skinny jeans? I look like a frumpy cow :(" "Of course we can honey" He's the greatest. We are going out tonight to find a pair. You know when you just have a very bad day because you feel very fat and frumpy and ugly and self conscious? Yep, that was yesterday for me. But as I just said, I have the greatest husband ever! We were both at work in the afternoon when I get a series of emails from him with these attachments...

Haha he makes me laugh! Such a silly guy... but he knows how to make me smile when I am feeling down. Plus, I'm getting a new pair of jeans out of it ;)

Stretch marks?  Nope!

Sleep: Still pretty rough. If I don't fall asleep after a little while, I get really frustrated and start huffing and puffing, tossing and turning. And of course, getting all worked up does not help me get to sleep and it keeps Bryant awake (poor guy). He's super patient with me though. He usually convinces me to get up and walk around a little bit (because the cool air outside of our bed helps me) and I can usually get to sleep after that. I think baths may help too. It's just still very hard for me to not sleep on my stomach. I just cannot seem to get comfy on my side, even with a body pillow between my knees and a small blanket wedged under my belly. :(

Best moment this week: Showing daddy Paisley's kicks! She is getting stronger, and now we can watch my belly move up and down! It is so amazing!

Miss Anything?sleeping on my stomach, eating sushi, being able to touch my toes without exerting extra effort (haha)

Movement:ALL the time! I love it :)

Food cravings: milk, milkshakes, ice cream, and warm comfort foods like rice and pasta

Anything making you queasy or sick: Onions still

Have you started to show yet: oh yes :)

Labor Signs: Nope.

Belly Button in or out? In, but just barely!

Wedding rings on or off? On, but a tad bit tighter

Happy or Moody most of the time: Happy! Overall, I love being pregnant :)

Looking forward to: meeting our sweet Paisley... I am getting so anxious/excited!

How far along? 23 weeks!
