Alyssa Kay Giles... aka Mrs. Gregory Bryant Giles :)

Has a nice ring to it, don't ya think? :) Well... in less than two weeks that will be my new name! This week better fly by quickly, because Bryant will get to Alabama exactly a week from today and I am DYING to see him. After being without him for a month, seeing him for three days, then being without him again for 2 months.... let's just say I'm tired of just talking to him on the phone! So to occupy myself today as I try to be patient and wait for this week to pass, I decided to finally get this blog up and running. I watched some tutorials and learned how to make it cute (and it surprisingly wasn't that hard!) and now I just need to be diligent in writing posts on here! It's no fun to follow someone who never updates their blog! So... we have this blog because we will be at school in Utah for a while and our poor families will be missing us dearly in Texas and in Alabama, so we want to have a way to include them in all of our fun activities as a newlywed couple :) We will be posting pictures of setting up our lovely new apartment, camping and hiking, playing in the leaves and snow, studying and cooking, and other fun dates and activities :) I can't wait for my new life to start!

Wedding Colors

Hey everyone!

I would love to have the entire bridal party, including all family and friends, wear my colors to the temple so everyone coordinates for pictures!   We will be taking pictures on the Birmingham LDS temple grounds directly following the ceremony. We estimate pictures to begin around 10:30AM. You all mean the world to me and to Bryant. 

My colors are lavender and charcoal, but any shade of purple and/or grey/black will do!
